Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an Avionics Integration and Test Engineer for the Engines Avionics team in Kent, WA or Huntsville, AL. You will own the integration and verification of engine avionics, guiding hardware, FPGA, embedded software and controls work from first power-on through formal verification and engine testing.

Qualifications

• BS degree in electrical/computer engineering or related field with 5+ years of experience.
• Knowledge across digital/analog hardware, FPGA, embedded software, and control systems.
• Experience with formal verification, requirements tracing, and test documentation.

Responsibilities

• Bring up and functionally test engine avionics units from power-on to fault isolation.
• Define verification strategy and lead integration campaigns.
• Write requirements, interface control documents, and design docs.
• Support stand and hot-fire tests and analyze anomalies.
• Mentor engineers in verification practices.
