Kimmel and Associates is seeking a Senior Energy Engineer in the Middleburg Heights/Cleveland area to lead energy conservation projects in large facilities. You will perform audits, develop savings calculations, and coordinate with sales and project teams to deliver sustainable, cost-effective solutions.

The role requires a bachelor’s in engineering, 7+ years of energy engineering experience, and travel up to 30%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Seven+ years of energy engineering experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in HVAC, BAS, renewable energy, or central plant design.
• Experience performing energy audits and energy savings calculations.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% and reside within 2–3 hours of Cleveland, OH.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and implementation of energy conservation projects for large facilities.
• Conduct energy audits and analyze utility data.
• Develop energy savings calculations and financial analyses.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, estimating, and PM teams from project development to execution.
• Present findings and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Mentor junior engineers and stay current on industry best practices.
• Support HVAC, BAS, lighting, renewables and central plant optimization initiatives.
