Job summary

Resource Innovations is seeking a Team Lead for an Energy Efficiency Field Team in Ohio to spearhead our Inflation Reduction Act Program field delivery. The Team Lead will build and guide a field service team delivering in-home energy audits and QA/QC for HOMES and HEAR programs, focusing on income-based participants and contractor collaboration.

You will oversee residential weatherization, HVAC, and water heating inspection reviews, review QA/QC findings, and work with partners to implement

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen and reside in a metropolitan area of Ohio.
• 2+ years of energy efficiency, utility programs, QA, consulting, HVAC, or facilities maintenance experience.
• Experience leading teams and managing field staff.
• BPI certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days.
• Strong understanding of building science, energy systems, and audit technologies.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and access to a vehicle; travel up to 75%.
• Commitment to sustainability and program integrity.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coach field technicians to ensure quality installation and service.
• Review QC audits and ensure energy modeling requirements are met.
• Recruit and train BPI-certified Energy Auditors.
• Manage verification across programs and ensure documentation is complete.
• Conduct onsite inspections and create inspection reports.
• Implement energy audit protocols and QA/QC requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve program effectiveness.
