Resource Innovations is seeking a Lead Engineer to join our Iowa team. You will lead energy-efficiency projects, perform audits, and develop technical tools to quantify savings for commercial and industrial clients.

Located near Des Moines, IA, this role emphasizes independent project management, cross-functional collaboration, and delivering cost-effective energy solutions with a focus on impact.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar field.
• Strong understanding of mechanical/electrical systems incl. HVAC, thermal, and building systems.
• 5+ years in energy efficiency/building efficiency preferable.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently and meet deadlines.
• Excellent writing, interpersonal, presentation and analytical skills.
• Proficient with MS Office; able to distill complex ideas clearly.

Aufgaben

• Deliver outstanding customer service to commercial/industrial and utility clients.
• Conduct energy audits and retro-commissioning studies to quantify energy savings.
• Develop and maintain technical analysis/calculators for energy measures.
• Provide timely technical feedback and manage customer expectations.
• Champion energy efficiency and remove barriers to project delivery.
• Support utility programs to meet energy-saving goals.
• Produce reports and client-ready deliverables with limited QC checks.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Invite feedback, advocate change, and implement improvements.
• Handle other duties as assigned.
