Job summary

Saur Energy International seeks a Senior Research Analyst to lead asset-level revenue forecasts for renewable, conventional, and storage assets globally. The role requires expertise in asset valuation and financial modelling, with oversight of Research Analysts and collaboration across engineering, product, and data teams.

You will develop market assumptions, analyze trends, and present insights to drive forecasting accuracy and support product development.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in asset valuation, revenue forecasting, and financial modelling for energy assets.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Energy Studies, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Lead and oversee research efforts on global power markets and revenue mechanisms for generation technologies.
Manage and mentor Research Analysts, providing guidance and technical expertise.
Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for asset performance.
Monitor regulatory changes and market designs affecting energy assets globally.
Provide strategic market assumptions to support revenue forecasting models.
Collaborate with data teams to align research with modelling datasets.
Present research findings to senior leadership and external stakeholders.
