Zusammenfassung

AES Corporation seeks a Senior FP&A/Transactions Analyst to own end-to-end financial management for a renewable portfolio. You will lead EBITDA and cash forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning while partnering with project finance, execution, and treasury to drive performance and transparency.

You will model portfolio performance, surface risks, respond to inquiries, and support strategic initiatives. Strong GAAP knowledge and industry experience are preferred.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of experience in FP&A, project finance, or related financial analysis.
• Strong financial modeling skills in Excel; experience with SAP, BPC, Anaplan.
• Solid GAAP knowledge across the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement.
• Experience in the energy, infrastructure, or real assets sector preferred.
• Familiarity with project finance structures, joint ventures, or bond/lender reporting a strong plus.
• Fluent in English (required).
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

Aufgaben

• Lead monthly EBITDA and cash forecasting and annual budget development for assigned assets.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities; collaborate with project finance and execution.
• Prepare and maintain financial models supporting portfolio performance tracking and scenario analysis.
• Explain variances with driver narratives including one-time vs. recurring items and forward-looking outlook.
• Prepare and respond to ad hoc financial inquiries from internal and external partners.
• Support strategic initiatives as required; contribute to portfolio-level initiatives across teams.
• Collaborate with finance, legal, treasury, and development on cross-functional workstreams.
