Job summary

EVONA is seeking an accomplished Program Manager for its Los Angeles, CA office to own full satellite programmes from contract through launch and on-orbit operations. You will coordinate engineers, manufacturing, suppliers and customers to ensure on-time delivery within budget and to spec, while leading reviews and managing risks.

Qualifications

• At least seven years in aerospace or satellite engineering with three years in programme/project management.
• Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; master's preferred.
• Experience managing satellite programmes through design, manufacturing, integration, testing and mission operations.
• Hands-on systems engineering on a flight programme, or expertise in a major subsystem (e.g., ADCS or C&DH).
• Strong understanding of small satellite architectures and ground infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of satellite programmes from contract award through design, development, manufacturing, integration, testing and operations.
• Connect engineering, manufacturing, suppliers and customers to deliver on time, within budget and to requirements.
• Lead programme reviews; manage requirements, trade-offs and risks with engineering teams.
• Coordinate supplier activities, forecasts and reporting to senior leadership.
