EVONA is seeking a VP of Programs & Operations to lead the execution backbone of a space technology company serving government and commercial missions. You will translate strategy into reliable, scalable delivery across engineering, product, and customer programs, ensuring mission readiness and deployment success.

You bring 10+ years leading programs in complex technical environments, with strong government or national security domain experience, cross-functional leadership, and a track record

Qualifications

• 10+ years leading programs, operations, or delivery in complex technical environments.
• Strong experience supporting government, aerospace, or national security programs.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams delivering mission-critical systems.
• Experience building operational processes in fast-growing or evolving organizations.
• Strong stakeholder management experience, including government customers.

Responsibilities

• Own execution across all customer programs spanning government and commercial missions.
• Act as the executive accountable for program delivery, mission readiness, and deployment success.
• Build and scale the program management and operational execution function.
• Drive cross-functional alignment across engineering, product, and customer teams.
• Establish scalable processes for mission onboarding, deployment, and delivery.
• Develop operational reporting, dashboards, and execution tracking frameworks.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks to improve delivery speed and reliability.
• Serve as a senior interface with government and commercial stakeholders.
• Partner with leadership to ensure operational readiness for growth and new programs.
