As a leader in the mobile fleet service industry, we provide preventative maintenance with proprietary technology tailored to each customer's needs. Position: Mobile Technician Leader

We are hiring a Mobile Technician Leader to support our management team and future growth. If you're looking for a new opportunity, we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:
  1. Lead a team of 15+ technicians, providing leadership and guidance to achieve company results.
  2. Conduct one-on-one meetings for coaching and mentoring.
  3. Monitor metrics, reports, and records to analyze team productivity and implement improvements.
  4. Travel frequently to technician and customer locations.
  5. Participate in meetings with various organizational functions.
  6. Ensure compliance with policies, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
  7. Oversee onboarding activities for new technicians.
  8. Conduct safety audits and quality control inspections.
  9. Assist in budget development and adherence.
  10. Coordinate with team members to improve productivity.
  11. Collaborate with dispatch and sales teams to ensure technicians' schedules are full.
  12. Delegate work and coordinate repairs.
  13. Participate in safety meetings and enforce safety procedures.
  14. Provide technical guidance and advice.
  15. Work with customers to meet vehicle maintenance needs.
  16. Facilitate communication across organizational functions.
  17. Manage inventory levels of equipment, parts, and tools.
  18. Interview, select, and train new technicians.
  19. Resolve issues related to HR, parts, fleet management, IT, etc.
  20. Operate a company vehicle for travel.
  21. Perform technician duties as needed to model best practices.
  22. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline with 6+ years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  2. At least 1 year of management or leadership experience.
  3. Valid driver’s license and safe driving record; ability to travel.
  4. Minimum age of 21 years due to interstate regulations.
  5. Skills in coaching, mentoring, and managing technicians.
  6. Knowledge of mobile maintenance practices and challenges.
  7. Ability to coordinate multiple efforts and act with urgency.
  8. Strong ethics, action orientation, and customer focus.
  9. Proficiency with IT systems like dispatch software, Workday, Salesforce, etc.
  10. Excellent listening, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
