Qualifications

• 8+ years leading embedded hardware/software teams.
• Strong background in hardware/software integration and firmware.
• Hands-on experience with embedded Linux, RTOS and device drivers.
• Proven end-to-end delivery of customer-driven engineering projects.
• Excellent people-management, coaching and hiring skills.
• Strong resource planning and execution against goals.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a cross-functional engineering team of eight hardware and software engineers, ensuring delivery, quality, and performance.
• Allocate resources effectively across multiple projects based on skill sets, priorities, and timelines.
• Oversee technical execution, including design reviews, verification, validation, and adherence to engineering standards.
• Provide hands-on technical support for circuit design, debugging, board bring-up, and complex problem solving.
• Own project delivery outcomes, meeting milestones on schedule and minimizing rework.
• Coach, develop, and retain talent through performance management, hiring, onboarding, and continuous upskilling.
• Drive continuous improvement in processes, tools, documentation, and knowledge-sharing across teams.
