L3Harris Technologies in Yorba Linda, CA is seeking a Lead Software Engineer - Signal Processing to guide the design and delivery of GPS and PNT software on critical defense systems. You will lead C/C++ development on embedded targets, review designs, and ensure compliance with DoD requirements while mentoring junior engineers.

The role requires strong technical leadership, excellent communication, and hands-on collaboration with customers and suppliers.

Competenze

• Degree in computer engineering, CS, EE or equivalent with substantial embedded software experience.
• Minimum 9 years in real-time embedded software design and analysis; MS or a higher degree preferred.
• In lieu of a degree, 13+ years of related experience is acceptable.

Mansioni

• Provide technical leadership for C/C++ development on GPS and related equipment on target hardware.
• Lead documentation and communicate design concepts, ensuring requirements compliance.
• Guide new programs from conceptual design to completion and mentor junior engineers.
• Lead code reviews and provide technical guidance within the software team.
• Contribute to external proposals and customer engagements as needed.
