Florida Department of Children & Families – Office of Economic Self-Sufficiency seeks an Eligibility Supervisor (SES) for Fort Lauderdale, FL. The incumbent will supervise a unit handling public assistance eligibility, train staff, and ensure performance targets are met.

The role requires detailed knowledge of eligibility processes, staff coaching, and use of relevant computer systems. Internal salary appointments follow DCF policy; remote work is not indicated.

Formación

• Two (2) or more years' experience determining eligibility for food stamps, Medicaid, and cash assistance.
• Develops and uses tracking systems to monitor case status and performance indicators.
• Supervision of public assistance eligibility staff and adherence to rules, regulations, policies and procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Supervises public assistance eligibility staff and directs work assignments.
• Reviews case records and uses the case reading process as a learning and development tool.
• Evaluates performance data and prepares related reports and planning initiatives.
• Provides necessary training to employees and coordinates policy implementation.

Conocimientos

Spanish/Creole/French language ability
