Job summary

The State of South Carolina Department of Social Services seeks an ES Eligibility Team Manager to supervise Economic Services staff across Berkeley and Dorchester counties, ensuring timely SNAP/TANF services and compliance with applicable laws.

You will mentor Team Leaders, manage front-office operations, and prepare reports while enforcing performance and quality standards in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any field plus 3 years of professional experience in Human or Social Services.
• Master's degree in any field plus 1 year of professional experience in Human or Social Services.
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for field work.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Economic Services staff and Team Leaders for two counties; ensure performance and timeliness.
• Monitor program compliance with state and federal laws, reviews, and audits.
• Lead staff development, training, and corrective action as needed.
• Oversee front-desk operations across two offices and ensure customer service targets are met.
• Prepare statistical reports and ensure accurate data entry into required systems.
