Guilford County is seeking a lead worker in the Economic Services Program to supervise and mentor staff across Food Stamps, Medicaid, daycare, and Q/A training. You will interview applicants, verify data, and complete forms to determine eligibility.

Minimum requirements include high school diploma or GED with two years of Income Maintenance Caseworker experience, and a valid NC driver’s license. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with two years of Income Maintenance Caseworker or related experience.
• Higher education may substitute part or all of experience.
• Two years as Eligibility Caseworker with Guilford County or similar public agency.
• Must possess a valid North Carolina driver's license.
• Residency within a two-hour driving radius of Guilford County.

Responsabilités

• Lead a caseload of Medicaid and related assistance cases.
• Cover vacant caseloads due to illness or resignations.
• Conduct policy and refresher trainings.
• Mentor new employees in intake and review areas.
• Support other supervisors and cover for absent lead staff.
• Review cases for continued eligibility and accuracy.
• Complete reports and assist with second party reviews.
• Other duties as assigned.
