Everforth Apex Systems is seeking an Electronics Engineer (Cable & Harness Design) in Baltimore, MD. The role requires active Secret Clearance, U.S. citizenship, and extensive experience designing electrical harnesses for power, RF, and fiber optic systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 5+ years of experience in electrical harness design.
• Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (SAP).
• Minimum 5 years of experience designing electrical harnesses for power distribution, RF, and fiber optic systems.
• 5 years of experience with cable and harness manufacturing, integration, and material selection.
• Experience with connectors, backshells, cable assemblies, and wiring components.
• 5 years of experience using Siemens NX or similar CAD tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical harnesses, cables, and interconnect systems for advanced platforms.
• Support all phases of the product lifecycle from requirements to environmental testing.
• Create and modify cable documentation packages (block diagrams, interconnect diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams).
• Lead technical efforts and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Interface with customers, program management, and manufacturing to ensure project success.
