Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Senior Principal Electrical Engineer or Staff Principal Electrical Engineer in Huntsville for the Hardware Engineering function. You will design cable harnesses, perform power analysis, and create interconnect diagrams for COTS/GFE equipment supporting DoD programs.

The role interfaces with production, program management, service providers, suppliers, and customers in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Electrical or Computer Science Engineering or related STEM degree.
• Minimum 8 years experience (for level 4) or 12 years experience (for level 5) in electrical design engineering.
• Experience with production, fabrication and test design integration.

Responsibilities

• Primary responsibilities are cable harnesses design, power analysis and interconnect diagrams for COTS and GFE equipment.
• Additional tasks include research, development, design and testing of electrical components, equipment, systems and networks.
