Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Anaheim, CA seeks an Assembly D to perform complex electro-mechanical assembly, rework, and repair for defense hardware. You will apply soldering per ANSI-J-STD-001 as required, interpret engineering drawings, and ensure quality while supporting team execution.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent with 8 years of related experience or 2 years post-secondary/Associates with 4 years related experience.
• Experience assembling electro-mechanical subassemblies, major assemblies, and cabinetry for hardware and systems, preferably military.
• Ability to read and interpret assembly blueprints, drawings, parts lists, and ECOs.
• Hand soldering skills and knowledge of ANSI-J-STD-001; certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex electro-mechanical assembly, rework, and repair operations per work instructions and quality standards.
• Apply soldering skills per military specs or ANSI-J-STD-001 as required by tasks.
• Utilize various assembly tools; lift and move parts up to 50 pounds.
• Lead or assist in training team members on new assembly processes and build sequences.
• Document build sequences accurately to support repeatability and readiness.
• Charge time to jobs and maintain up-to-date assembly status in computer systems.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with policies.
