Job summary

This hands-on role emphasizes ownership of projects, safe practices, and meeting schedules while coordinating with project teams.

You will read drawings, adhere to NEC and local codes, mentor apprentices, and communicate progress and needs to project managers.

Qualifications

• Virginia-licensed Journeyman Electrician or higher.
• Experience performing residential and/or commercial electrical installations.
• Ability to independently run electrical projects.
• Strong understanding of NEC requirements and local codes.
• Ability to read construction drawings and troubleshoot electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform electrical installations on residential and commercial projects.
• Independently plan, organize, and execute assigned work.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and applicable codes.
• Direct and coordinate other electricians and apprentices as needed.
• Complete installations efficiently while maintaining high workmanship standards.
• Identify potential issues early and communicate solutions before they impact schedules or budgets.
• Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, customers, and other trades.
