Livewire is a Richmond-based electrical, lighting, audio/video, and home automation company serving residential and commercial clients throughout Central Virginia. Our work ranges from residential renovations and electrical service to commercial buildouts, custom lighting systems, lighting controls, and integrated technology solutions. We are looking for an experienced, Virginia-licensed Journeyman Electrician who is ready to take ownership of projects and help grow our electrical department.
This is a hands-on leadership position for an electrician who can confidently run projects from start to finish. We need someone who understands the importance of quality workmanship, efficient execution, communication, and meeting project schedules. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, directing other technicians when needed, interpreting plans, coordinating with other trades, and making sound field decisions without requiring constant supervision.
We value electricians who take initiative, work efficiently, and take responsibility for the jobs they run. You should be comfortable making decisions, planning ahead, and keeping projects moving without sacrificing quality. We are especially interested in someone who wants to build a long-term career, take on responsibility, and contribute to the continued growth of our electrical department. Experience with automation and low-voltage systems is a plus, but not required. We are willing to train the right electrician who brings strong electrical fundamentals, leadership, and a willingness to learn.
