Job summary

G Electric Inc. in Fishers, IN is seeking a Lead Electrician to lead a crew on electrical and solar projects. You will own project execution, coordinate with project managers, and ensure work meets NEC and local codes with safety top of mind.

You will read blueprints, supervise electricians and apprentices, and drive on-time delivery while managing budgets and quality workmanship for Rural Commercial, Industrial, Retail, and some Residential sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on electrical experience, with 1–2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
• Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred.
• Strong knowledge of NEC codes and Indiana local electrical codes.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise electricians and apprentices on electrical and solar projects.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, panels, and equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
• Ensure all work complies with NEC codes and local regulations.
• Coordinate with project managers and other trades to maintain project timelines.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues efficiently.
• Maintain a safe and organized job site and enforce OSHA standards.
• Holds ultimate responsibility for project completion and budget.
