Job summary

Gaylor Electric, Inc. seeks a Journeyman Electrician to lead installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems across commercial and industrial sites in Indiana.

You will interpret blueprints, install conduits and make terminations, while ensuring NEC compliance and safety protocols. Ideal candidates will have completed an accredited apprenticeship or 6 years of field experience, plus Journeyman licensing where required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of Accredited Apprenticeship or six years of field experience.
• Journeyman license as required by project/state.
• Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Ability to use hand tools and operate lifts with safety.
• Knowledge of NEC, safety, and lockout/tagout procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead installations, alterations, additions, and/or repairs of electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot and proactively solve electrical issues.
• Plan and lay out conduit, wires, and equipment per blueprints.
• Train and supervise Helpers and Apprentices.
• Perform safety inspections and ensure compliance.
• Interact with project teams to meet deadlines.
