Job summary

G Electric Inc. in Fishers, IN is seeking a Lead Electrician to lead a crew on electrical and solar projects. You will own project execution, coordinate with project managers, and ensure work meets NEC and local codes with safety top of mind.

You will read blueprints, supervise electricians and apprentices, and drive on-time delivery while managing budgets and quality workmanship for Rural Commercial, Industrial, Retail, and some Residential sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on electrical experience, with 1–2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
• Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred.
• Strong knowledge of NEC codes and Indiana local electrical codes.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

About the Role:

G Electric Inc is looking for a skilled and motivated Lead Electrician to join our growing team in Fishers, IN! This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of electrical projects, lead a crew, and make a real impact with a company that values craftsmanship and quality work.

Scope:

The Foreman is responsible for handling manpower, materials, and scheduling for the all projects assigned.

Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise electricians and apprentices on electrical and solar projects which includes Rural Commercial, Industrial, Retail, some Residential.

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, panels, and equipment

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams

Ensure all work is completed in compliance with NEC codes and local regulations

Coordinate with project managers and other trades to maintain project timelines

Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues efficiently and accurately

Maintain a safe and organized job site, enforcing OSHA safety standards

Holds ultimate responsibility for project completion and budget

Requirements:

Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred

5+ years of hands-on electrical experience, with at least 1-2 years in a lead or supervisory role

Strong knowledge of NEC codes and local electrical codes in Indiana

Ability to read blueprints, technical diagrams, and electrical schematics

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification a plus
