Job summary

TIC Inc in Abilene, TX seeks an experienced Lead Construction Supervisor to effectively lead and manage crew members' daily activities and production according to the project timeline, plans, specifications, codes and industry standards.

You will train on safety and operational procedures, supervise crews, ensure equipment is properly operated and maintained, and contribute to timely completion within budget while upholding TIC Inc's commitment to quality workmanship and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Able to demonstrate thorough knowledge to perform all essential functions under supervision.
• Ability to plan tasks safely and efficiently; train safety practices and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and organize people, equipment, tools and materials to promote safe, efficient and timely construction.
• Ensure construction equipment is correctly operated and maintained.
• Maintain accurate reporting records including job quantities, productivity rates, time sheets and daily management reports.
• Assist in developing weekly schedules and sequencing activities for assigned crew.
• Ensure completion of work within estimated costs while upholding quality standards.
• Ensure crew safety and comply with company and government safety rules.
• Lead toolbox talks and communicate safety concerns, work scope, plans and schedules to leadmen and crews.
• Monitor compliance with company policies by all supervised employees.
