Job summary

Comfort Systems USA seeks a Foreman Electrician to lead and mentor a crew of Helpers, Apprentices, and Journeyman electricians on commercial/industrial projects in Massachusetts. You will oversee installation, alteration and repair of electrical systems while training and evaluating your team to maintain quality and safety.

You will develop manpower schedules, review blueprints and specs, and ensure work meets project timelines and NEC guidelines.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Demonstrates leadership abilities with the capability to mentor a crew of five Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman Electricians.
• Ability to read and understand project specifications, blueprints, and schematics.
• Able to develop and communicate manpower schedules for the crew.
• Basic understanding of customer relationships and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Work with the crew to ensure high-quality work.
• Develop a manpower schedule for the team.
• Create material lists from layouts and communicate to supervision.
• Help achieve production and budget goals by coordinating tasks.
• Ensure work complies with local and NEC guidelines.
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install conduit.
• Install and terminate electrical devices, fixtures and panels.
• Read project drawings and lay out areas from blueprints.
