Job summary

Generac is seeking an experienced technician to join its dealer network in Crown Point, IN. You will lead generator installations with electrical expertise, document results, and ensure reliable operation of residential and commercial electrical systems.

Role requires 3–5 years in the electrical trade, experience with generators or home automation, and a valid driver’s license for local travel. This is a position with an independent Generac channel partner and involves working on site with

What You'll Do

• Lead generator installations with electrical expertise
• Document actions, testing results, observations, final diagnosis of the situation and steps taken to resolve issues for each job or situation
• Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems – including wiring, distribution, and controls
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of electrical systems to prevent future issues

What You'll Bring

• Proven experience with installing generators, home automation, and/or service work
• Experience in residential and/or commercial electrical work
• Strong comprehension of blueprints, schematics, and documents
• Valid driver's license for local travel
• 3-5 years minimum in the electrical trade
• This job is with an independent Generac channel partner and not for employment with Generac Power Systems, Inc.
