Job summary

Vertiv Co is seeking a capable engineer to lead testing and troubleshooting of electrical power distribution systems. The role requires strong knowledge of 15 kV switchgear testing, relay calibration, and detailed reporting. Travel up to 50% and collaboration with clients are expected.

The candidate should have a BSEE or BSME, plus related experience or military electrical training. NETA certification is preferred, with a focus on safety and quality in project execution.

Qualifications

• Graduate Engineer with BSEE or BSME and no experience or equivalent.
• Electrical training or military equivalent with at least 3 years experience.
• Strong knowledge of NEC and related standards (OSHA/NFPA).
• NETA certification or exam passed is preferred.
• Experience with switchgear testing up to 15 kV and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead testing and maintenance of electrical power distribution systems.
• Troubleshoot relay systems, calibration, and metering tasks.
• Prepare detailed project reports and assist with billing.
• Support business development and client proposals.
• Coordinate testing activities with field personnel and customers.
