Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a capable engineer to troubleshoot, test, and inspect electrical power distribution systems. The role involves leading projects and performing technical supervision on assignments.

You will conduct tests up to 15 kV, calibrate relays, write detailed reports, and support bid proposals with estimates of man-hours and expenses.

Regular travel is expected, and you will contribute to safety, integrity, and teamwork while ensuring compliance with standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate Engineer with BSEE or BSME, or Electrical Tech School/Military equivalent with 3 years related work.
• HS diploma with 4 years related work experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Test and maintain electrical power distribution systems.
• Troubleshoot and calibrate relays; test via load recording instruments up to 15 kV class.
• Prepare reports and process job billing promptly after project completion.
• May lead complex analysis and participate in equipment labeling per industry standards.
• Contribute to business development and development of project scopes and pricing.

Education

BSEE or BSME, Electrical Technical School or Military equivalent with 3 years minimum experience
