Job summary

Vertiv Corporation is seeking a Graduate/Lead Engineer to troubleshoot, test, and inspect electrical apparatus, taking a lead role on projects with some supervision. The role involves testing switchgear up to 15 kV, report writing, and contributing to business development.

Applicants should have a BSEE/BSME or equivalent, with related experience or military background. Travel up to 50% and ability to work flexible hours including weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Three years minimum related experience or military equivalent.
• Knowledge of NEC and industry standards (OSHA, NFPA).
• Pass NETA exam and strong switchgear testing experience through 15 kV.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing and maintenance of electrical power distribution systems.
• Lead project efforts and prepare detailed reports and billing
• Conduct simple and moderately complex electrical system tests and studies.
• Assist business development and client proposal activities.
• Provide accurate estimates of man-hours and expenses for proposals.
