Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a lead-level engineer for testing, troubleshooting, and inspection of electrical power distribution equipment. You will act as the lead on projects, provide technical supervision, and generate detailed end-of-project reports while ensuring accurate billing and adherence to safety and industry standards.

Ideal candidates hold a BSEE/BSME or equivalent and have strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA, OSHA, and NETA certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate Engineer with BSEE/BSME and no experience, or graduate of Electrical Tech School or military equivalent with 3 years of related work experience, or high school plus 4 years of related work experience.
• Knowledge of the National Electrical Code and OSHA/NFPA standards.
• Passed NETA exam.
• Strong background in switchgear testing up to 15 kV.
• Solid understanding of electrical power systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing and maintenance of electrical power distribution systems.
• Lead projects and provide technical supervision.
• Prepare complete, detailed reports and process job billing.
• Assist in business development and client proposals with scope and pricing.
