Job summary

Vertiv Corporation is seeking a lead electrical test engineer to troubleshoot, test and inspect electrical apparatus across projects. You will lead on assignments and supervise colleagues, with travel to Wasatch Front and international destinations.

A strong background in switchgear testing through 15 kV and NEC knowledge is required. Graduate engineers or experienced technicians with relevant education backgrounds and a solid reporting ability are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate engineer with BSEE or BSME or equivalent; no experience required.
• Three years minimum in electrical work if military or similar background.
• High school diploma plus related work experience acceptable.
• Knowledge of NEC and industry standards; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Test and maintain electrical power distribution systems end-to-end.
• Lead on projects; perform supervision and reporting duties.
• Troubleshoot relay systems and perform calibration of equipment.
• Prepare detailed reports and participate in business development.
