Job summary

ACS Professional Staffing is seeking an Electrical Studies Engineer for a remote, full-time role open to qualified candidates across the United States. Key responsibilities include leading advanced studies for renewable energy projects and mentoring junior engineers.

Must have PE licensure, a degree in Electrical Engineering, and 4+ years of power systems experience. Proficiency with ETAP, PSCAD, Polaris, and other software is required, with strong communication and collaboration skills to work

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 4+ years of engineering experience.
• 3+ years in power systems.
• Experience supporting renewable energy projects.
• Proficiency with listed power systems software.

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced power system studies for renewable energy projects.
• Perform complex electrical studies (TOV, TRV, EMT analyses) and using PSCAD, Polaris, CDEGS, ASPEN Line Constants, TLW-GEN.
• Model and analyze electrical phenomena with specialized software.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and clients.
• Mentor junior engineers and develop new study procedures.
• Support business development and proposal efforts.
• Ensure quality control and technical reviews.
• Present technical information in client meetings.
