Job summary

Electrical Reliability Services, Inc. seeks a Power Systems Engineer to support a range of power system studies nationwide. The role is remote with up to 25% travel and involves data collection, one-line revisions, and electrical system analysis across all voltage levels.

You will perform short circuit analysis, coordination, and arc flash studies, and assist in field data gathering and report writing. The position requires FE exam passage within 12 months and BSEE qualification.

Responsibilities

• Support all types of power systems and engineering studies, from basic to complex.
• Work with Sr. Power Systems Engineer to support project scope.
• Perform short circuit analysis, protective device coordination, and arc flash studies.
• Assist other engineers with various power systems and studies.
• Assist in gathering field data and documentation as needed.
• Support engineering studies including reliability, harmonics, load flow, and maintenance studies.
