NTH Consultants, Ltd. in Grand Rapids, MI, seeks an Electrical Renewables Project Engineer to join the new Electrical Engineering Power and Utilities Division. Base in Grand Rapids with option to work from Northville or Lansing for the right candidate.

You will bid, manage, and execute projects in utility-scale solar, BESS, and EV charging, while building client relationships and leading teams.

Qualifikationen

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering; power/renewables focus preferred.
• P.E. license in Michigan or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• 4+ years in electrical power, renewables, construction, or industrial maintenance.
• 2+ years in renewable energy / BESS design or project work.
• Experience with PV modeling and engineering proposals.

Aufgaben

• Develop and maintain client relationships for repeat work.
• Prepare and review contracts, designs, specs for PV, BESS, EV charging.
• Prepare proposals, cost estimates, plans, specs, and reports.
• Perform engineering analyses: load flow, voltage drop, short circuit, protection, arc flash, grounding.
• Lead project meetings and track metrics like schedule and invoicing.
• Mentor staff engineers and support design standards development.
