Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
5+ years in electrical engineering with project management or design in renewables.
Experience with power conversion systems and grid interconnection standards.
Proficiency with electrical design software and simulation tools.

Responsibilities

Manage electrical design, procurement, and construction phases of renewable energy projects (solar/ wind).
Develop and review single-line diagrams, load calculations, cable sizing, equipment specs.
Oversee selection and procurement of BOS components including inverters and transformers.
Ensure compliance with SANS and international codes; coordinate interconnection requirements.
Supervise site electrical activities, reviews contractor submissions, troubleshoot issues.
