Job summary

General Motors seeks an experienced engineering leader to guide a team focused on Electrical/Power & Signal Distribution Systems (PSDS) for a new specialty vehicle program. You will drive system design, wiring, and integration from concept through production, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to meet aggressive timelines.

The role requires a strong background in PSDS, vehicle integration, and cross-functional leadership within an automotive context. On-site Michigan location.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Electrical/ Power & Signal Distribution Systems (PSDS) product development experience.
• Exposure to Electrical/ PSDS development and associated systems.
• Experience in Automotive Electrical/ PSDS Organization (SMT) and Vehicle Integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide engineers, technicians, and others in PSDS development and integration.
• Develop and validate electrical architecture, wiring, connectors, and related components.
• Collaborate with customers and suppliers to meet requirements and deadlines.
• Create and maintain BOMs, design reviews, and DFMEA/DRBFM documentation.
