Job summary

Foth, a 100% member-owned science and engineering consulting firm, seeks a Lead Electrical Power Engineer to advance industrial power systems design across multiple locations and US-based remote work.

You will lead field data collection, power distribution design (medium voltage to 600 VAC), perform short-circuit/load-flow studies, develop project documentation, and mentor a project team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering – Power System option or equivalent technical experience.
• 10+ years of industrial electrical systems engineering design & analysis experience.
• 5+ years of experience with medium voltage (up to 15 kV) & low voltage (up to 600 VAC) power distribution systems.
• Professional Engineer license.

Responsibilities

• Engage in industrial/manufacturing field data collection and investigations for project work.
• Provide technical engineering design support for electrical power distribution systems (medium and low voltage).
• Perform power systems analysis (short circuit, load flow, arc flash, harmonics, etc.).
• Lead development of project documentation, schedules, and cost estimates.
• Lead design reviews with clients and internal teams.
• Travel up to 25% annually.
