Job summary

Scott Humphrey Corporation is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager for a major Dallas-based joint-venture project. The role owns the electrical scope from preconstruction through closeout, coordinating with design teams, field leadership, and trade partners to ensure project success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction experience with GC/CM
• Experience managing electrical scopes on large, complex projects
• Strong communication and coordination skills between design, field, and ownership teams

Responsibilities

• Manage the electrical scope from preconstruction and procurement through installation, commissioning, and closeout.
• Oversight of electrical subcontractors to ensure work aligns with contract documents, specs, schedule and quality.
• Coordinate electrical systems with mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, low-voltage, structural, architectural, and other scopes.
• Manage electrical submittals, RFIs, procurement schedules, change orders, cost impacts, and subcontractor documentation.
• Identify design conflicts and coordination issues before they impact field operations.
• Coordinate sequencing with Superintendents and field leadership for inspections, shutdowns, energization, and major installation activities.
• Monitor procurement and long-lead equipment (switchgear, transformers, generators, panels, etc.).
• Participate in coordination meetings with owner, design team, subcontractors, and JV partners.
• Track project costs, forecasts, commitments, change management, and financial performance for the electrical package.
• Support testing, commissioning, inspections, punch lists, turnover, and final closeout.
• Maintain focus on safety, quality, schedule, and successful project delivery
