Job summary

MPUSA in Seattle, WA is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to join our Production team. The role leads a small machine and fabrication facility's maintenance program, focusing on safety, reliability, and quality while applying hands-on electrical and instrumentation troubleshooting.

You will read blueprints, build control panels, calibrate systems, and coordinate maintenance priorities; occasional customer site startup support and travel are part of the job.

Qualifications

• Four or more years journey-level industrial electrician experience.
• Experience with AC/DC controls including low and medium voltage.
• Experience with conduit and panel building; NEC sizing/installation knowledge.
• Ability to read blueprints, sketches, schematics, and P&ID drawings; NEC/UL standards.
• Preferred certifications/licenses: State electrician’s license; UL508; boiler operator license or transferable.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a structured maintenance program for a small machine and fabrication facility.
• Provide journey-level electrical, instrumentation, and panel-building support as directed.
• Repair and maintain small electronics and electrical components including motors and switchgear.
• Occasionally fabricate instrument control panels and motor control centers per drawings.
• Test, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair electrical/instrumentation systems; support startup and troubleshooting at customer sites.
