Job summary

Simplot Company in Moses Lake, WA is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor who directs instrumentation, electronics, and control systems to keep the facility running safely and efficiently. The role leads the electrical and PLC/HMI functions, trains staff, and manages a maintenance budget in a 24/7 operation.

You will ensure safety, coordinate with contractors, and drive continuous improvement through up-to-date electronics technology, providing on-call weekend and off-hours coverage as

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a 4 year college or university.
• 3+ years related experience and/or training.
• Journeyman License preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a positive professional relationship with all contractors and equipment manufacturers.
• Attends and participates in training activities appropriate to the position and to incorporate acquired skills.
• Identifies training needs of subordinates and reinforces skill development with coaching and recognition.
• Identifies potential capital projects and repair jobs, and new projects in his/her area.
• Ensures the parts inventory for electrical, instrumentation, computer equipment is adequate to meet maintenance needs.
• Directs the electronic, electrical and PLC/HMI function to assure maximum operating efficiencies and cost control.
• Provides technical support for Floor level controls, SCADA and other information systems.
• Collaborates with operations to ensure plant systems operate efficiently within their limits and maintains maintenance budget.
