Qualifications

• 3+ years of residential electrical install experience, with crew leadership or solo installs.
• Ability to read job specs and solve install problems on site without callbacks.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Run residential electrical installs start to finish with an apprentice on the crew.
• Complete panel and service upgrades, EV charger installs, rewires, and new circuits.
• Set pace and quality standards while training the apprentice on site.
• Verify job specs and stage materials before heading to the site.
• Complete five or more installs per week without callbacks.
• Leave every job code correct and ready for inspection the first time.
• Explain completed work to homeowners and what to expect next.
• Keep the truck, tools, and jobsite clean and submit paperwork the same day.

Compensation: $35.00 - $42.00 / hour

Description

A well established residential electrical and plumbing company in Marin County is hiring a Lead Electrical Install Technician. You would run installs start to finish with an apprentice alongside you, handling panel and service upgrades, EV charger installs, rewires, new circuits, and outlet and switch work in occupied homes, typically five or more installs in a week. No California license is required to start and the company will sponsor you toward yours. Take home truck, and the office handles all permitting and inspections so you stay on the tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Run residential electrical installs start to finish with an apprentice on your crew
• Complete panel and service upgrades, EV charger installs, rewires, new circuits, outlets, and switches
• Set the pace and the quality standard on the job while training the apprentice working with you
• Verify job specs and stage materials and equipment before heading to the site
• Complete five or more installs in a typical week without creating callbacks
• Leave every job code correct and ready to pass inspection the first time
• Walk the homeowner through the completed work and what to expect next

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• Three or more years of residential electrical install experience, including time leading a crew or running installs solo
• Confident on panel and service upgrades, EV chargers, rewires, and new circuit work in occupied homes
• No California certification required to start, the company sponsors you toward yours
• Able to read job specs and solve install problems on site without creating a callback
• Strong customer presence and the ability to explain the work clearly and respectfully in a customer's home
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
