Due to growth, Main Electric, Inc. is immediately seeking exceptional Residential Service Technicians to deliver the most efficient, highest quality customer experiences in residential electrical repair and installation. We are 99% residential service/existing homes with a little commercial. This position is ideal for someone immediately seeking long-term employment. Responsibilities

As a Residential Service Technician, you will have residential service and sales experience and will be able to take care of customers professionally, estimating, offering options and capturing the sale. You will be engaging with our highly valuable customers in their homes on a daily basis, so it is vital that you can show them how much we care by being courteous and helpful. You will use your industry knowledge to select appropriate materials to perform routine electrical maintenance and service. Your daily job tasks may include the following:

• troubleshooting residential electrical systems
• preparing cost estimates for customers
• repairing or replacing defective parts or systems
• installing new equipment and systems
• reassembling and testing equipment after repairs
• maintaining records of parts used, labor time and final charges

Qualifications

In order to be qualified for the Residential Service Technician position, a current certified Journeyman's license is required. You should be clean cut with no tattoos or piercings unless they can be covered or removed. You must have excellent customer service skills with proven sales abilities. You should be able to estimate, sell and upsell products that our customers need and overcome objections professionally. You should possess an optimistic attitude, be a great team member, take ownership, be very good at troubleshooting existing homes, service and repairs, lift 75 lbs, and be able to physically get into attics and under houses. You must be able to communicate with customers to build trust and value and be committed to 100% customer satisfaction. NxStar and Tech‑Daddy training is a plus. You must be able to explain electrical problems and solutions in layman's terms and ensure the job is completely cleaned up before leaving. You must keep your van well stocked and organized to company standards. You are expected to work long hours, averaging 50‑60 per week, sometimes weekends, and be on call rotating basis. You must be on time with a clean and pressed uniform, shoes shined, and clean shaven. You must have a current California Driver's License, a clean driving record, and be able to pass a California background and drug test.
