Job summary

HRCP is seeking a Construction Supervisor for the Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel Expansion project in Norfolk, VA. The role oversees crews, schedules, safety, and daily field operations on a major civil construction site.

You will coordinate subcontractors, ensure DOT and company safety standards, review hours, and support reporting. Must have 3+ years supervisory experience and be able to work outdoors in all weather.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a construction supervisory role.
• Thorough knowledge of DOT standards and regulations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with workers and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all crew members and direct daily assignments on site.
• Monitor progress and certify/submit crew hours for payroll.
• Lead safety training and ensure adherence to OSHA and project standards.
• Assist in hiring, orientation, coaching, and performance management.
• Ensure proper use of machinery and that resources are available.
