Gilder Search Group is seeking an Electrical Construction Foreman in the Hampton Roads, VA area to supervise electricians and apprentices on commercial, municipal, roadway, and industrial projects. This hands-on role includes installation, troubleshooting, and ensuring NEC and project specs compliance.

The successful candidate will read blueprints, manage field productivity, and maintain safety standards while coordinating daily field activities and training crew members.

Qualifications

• Hands-on electrical installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair.
• Ability to read electrical drawings, diagrams, and specs.
• Experience leading electricians and apprentices on diverse projects.
• Strong safety mindset and NEC compliance experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise electricians and apprentices on commercial, municipal, roadway, and industrial projects.
• Perform hands-on electrical installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair with the crew.
• Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and specs; interpret installation manuals.
• Install, terminate, maintain, and service electrical equipment and panels.
• Coordinate daily field activities and direct crew assignments.
