Northrop Grumman is seeking an Electrical Engineering Manager 2 in Huntsville, AL, to lead a multi‑discipline engineering group within the Sentinel program. The role includes coordinating a technical baseline, stakeholder communication, and mentoring staff, with relocation assistance possible and a Secret clearance required at start.

The position involves about 25% travel and dynamics across a distributed team, plus responsibilities for program execution and organizational leadership as part of

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM with 8+ years, or 6+ years with a Master’s.
• Active DoD Secret clearance at time of application, with ability to obtain SAP approval.
• 3+ years of leadership experience in a multi‑disciplinary environment.
• Experience with Mechanical, Electrical, and/or Electronic Systems.
• Experience reading engineering drawings and specification sheets.
• Experience analyzing requirements and interface documentation.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a geographically distributed environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite – PowerPoint, Excel, Word.
• Experience resolving issues and providing technical support.
• Capable of working with minimal direction and in team environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage an Electrical Engineering group, maintaining a technical baseline of performance on program work.
• Spend approximately 80% of time on technical program work and 20% on functional/organizational support.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders; communicate effectively and solve problems.
• Build diverse and inclusive teams, mentor and coach employees, and support career development.
• Collaborate across directorate business areas and operate in a team environment to achieve goals.
• Provide functional management activities such as organizational administrative tasks, guidance, and training.
• Execute program responsibilities based on current or future tasking.
