Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems seeks a Principal/Sr. Principal Electrical Engineer technical lead for the Sentinel program, based in Roy, UT.

The role focuses on facility electrical design, power systems, and integration, requiring clear communication with engineering teams and stakeholders. The candidate must hold an active Secret clearance (or higher), have a relevant Electrical Engineering degree, and possess significant experience in power electronics and EMI/EMC design.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship with an Active Secret Clearance
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent STEM
• 5 years of relevant experience, 3 with a Master’s, or 1 with a PhD

Responsibilities

• Support design requirements for electrical power generation, conversion and distribution systems and circuit protective requirements for ground systems.
• Attend internal program, customer and/or supplier technical exchange meetings and/or formal program milestone reviews.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with diverse assignments and collaboration across all levels.
• Coordinate between facility electrical design and other integration teams.
• Integrate and document electrical system designs for the weapon system and coordinate content and work products.
• May perform research, evaluation, and systems integration in electrical or electro-mechanical systems, cables, connectors, power systems, test equipment.
• Demonstrate leadership principles and strong interpersonal skills.
