Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 8–12 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient with office software and productivity tools.
• Experienced using Altium Designer for schematic capture and PCB layout.
• Experience in RF, embedded control, FPGA domains.
• Power electronics experience including motors and battery tech.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
• Familiarity with LVDS, I2C, HDMI, UART, SPI, CAN, USB.
• Up to 30% travel may be required; clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Operates CAD tools and performs engineering tasks for electronic systems on unmanned aircraft vehicles.
• Coordinates manufacturing, installation, maintenance, testing to ensure compliance with specs and safety standards.
• Inspects installations and observes operations to ensure conformance to design specs.
• Works with avionics, embedded systems and RF links; supports flight test operations.
• Documents designs with drawings and descriptions; performs design tasks.
• Involves HDL programming, C/C++, PCB design, UAV subsystems.
• Assesses root causes and proposes alternate solutions to issues.
• Makes complex design decisions affecting cost and schedule.
• Provides technical supervision across disciplines and leads small teams.
