Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineer II to design, develop, and evaluate electronic systems for small unmanned aircraft. You will conduct simulations, drive system integration, and write support software for sensor and embedded processors.

The role requires hands-on hardware work, familiarity with UAV subsystems, and the ability to troubleshoot complex hardware/software systems in a deadline-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a B.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent; 2–5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with RF, embedded control, FPGA.
• Proficient with Altium and schematic capture; familiarity with LVDS, I2C, HDMI, UART, SPI, CAN, USB.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, modifies and evaluates electronic parts and circuitry.
• Drives system integration, assembly procedures and test procedures.
• Writes software to support sensor and embedded processor integration.
