Job summary

L3Harris Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Specialist, Electrical Engineer (Subsystem Design) in Fort Wayne, IN. The role leads the electrical design and integration of mission payloads, coordinating with CCA and systems teams to meet contract requirements.

A Secret security clearance is preferred and a sign-on bonus may be included. The position focuses on architecture and design of electronic payloads, test planning, and collaboration across software, mechanical, and integration teams,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
• Secret US security clearance required or ability to obtain.
• Experience with electrical integration of electronics to meet mission performance.
• Experience leading electrical engineering teams through all phases of a space program.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical integration of subsystems and payloads per ICDs.
• Generate and coordinate electrical design specifications and interfaces.
• Derive and flow system-level electrical, environmental, and physical constraint requirements.
• Lead or participate in system-level design reviews and test planning.
• Coordinate electrical analysis and trades including power budgets and EMI/EMC.
• Support AIT planning for HW/SW electrical integration testing.
