Job summary

TRS Staffing Solutions seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to support major refinery and industrial capital projects. This role focuses on electrical design, analysis, and project execution across multidisciplinary teams, with opportunities to lead and interface with clients.

The candidate should have extensive experience in electrical systems for refinery or heavy industry, and be adept at coordination, budgeting, and schedules for successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 8–10+ years of electrical engineering experience in Refining, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Energy, or heavy industrial facilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical engineering packages including one-line diagrams, wiring schematics, and electrical design deliverables.
• Perform load calculations, voltage drop studies, conduit and cable sizing, grounding system design, and lighting design.
• Support the design and modification of low- and medium-voltage power distribution systems.
• Develop electrical calculations, technical reports, and equipment specifications.
• Prepare material requisitions and support technical bid evaluations.
