TRS Staffing Solutions is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to support refinery, petrochemical, and industrial capital projects. The role emphasizes leadership in project execution, technical oversight, and cross-disciplinary coordination.

The ideal candidate will guide process piping, fixed equipment, and mechanical systems from scoping through construction support, mentoring teams in a fast-paced EPC setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering.
• 10+ years of mechanical engineering experience in refinery, petrochemical, or heavy industrial facilities.
• Proven leadership of engineering deliverables in EPC environments.
• Strong knowledge of codes and standards (ASME B31.1/B31.3, NBIC, API).
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and manage multi-discipline teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical engineering activities for refinery and industrial projects.
• Provide technical leadership for process piping, fixed equipment, and mechanical systems.
• Review calculations, analyses, and design documentation for quality and constructability.
• Ensure designs comply with ASME B31.1/B31.3, BPVC, API standards, and NBIC.
• Coordinate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams; mentor engineering staff.
